It breaks my heart when I see great businesses, failing to attract the high paying, lovely-to-serve customers that they deserve. How do YOU get customers now? STEP 1 – ATTRACT THE CLIENTS YOU WANT
First of all, getting in front of your potential customers has NEVER been easier……NEVER!!!
It is so easy now to jump onto Facebook and create super targeted adverts that will be sat directly under your potential clients noses within minutes, on their computers and on their phones.
All you have to do is pay for it. Now I know that seems obvious but it works.
The reason a lot of companies DON’T believe it works is because they’re going out with the wrong message which limits their audience to 3% of it’s potential. And I guarantee that if you are referring to your services and products in those adverts, then that’s exactly what you’re doing wrong.
I don’t go onto Facebook to be sold to.
STEP 2 – GIVE FIRST
The reason why most adverts fail to work is because they’re designed to TAKE first and they’re designed to SELL what you have.
The problems is that nobody is going to give you anything until you’ve first given them something, and only 3% of your audience know that they need what you have.
So the far better way is to educate; it’s to help first. This is called Authority Marketing. This increases your potential reach from 3% to 30% instantly.
If you’re talking about your products and services, you’re talking to the 3%. Talk about how you can help them to changes their lives/businesses and you’re talking to the 30%.
Talk about their challenges and their problems.
Talk about what keeps them awake at night and offer them some instant solutions to solving that problem.
You must give before you can take and I don’t just mean taking money. Taking their time is still to take.
STEP 3 – CAPTURE THEIR DETAILS
If they’re coming to your website and you don’t have a clear way of capturing them, then you’ve lost them forever.
People have too little time and too much going on to remember your website which they logged onto yesterday.
So you must be capturing them in some way, whether that be with a free download, report, checklist or video course. Or whether you’re pixelling them to nurture over a longer period of time.
Anyone that comes to your website leaves your website.
You just need to know that it might take 12 or 24 months before someone buys from you, and if you’re not playing that long game, you’ve going to lose.
